Dej'a Williams '22 Recruiting Profile

Hey coaches or to whomever might be reading this, 

My name is Dej'a Williams and I am hoping that you like what you see in my highlight videos. I Have been playing volleyball since I was in fifth grade and let me tell you I have a very strong love and lots of passion for this sport. My freshman year I decided to join a club and I worked very hard for two years and by my junior year I was named the only  All Conference player on my team. I was also named All Confefence for my Senior year. I was captain of my team for my Senior year.  What makes me a good candidate for teams is my dedication and authority to always keep improving and working on my skills. Every day I strive to be a better person and player. There is no being an average player. I always strive to be the best and continue to grow.  You can probably already tell that I have a very bold character and thats why I am a captain I lead my team while respecting my teammates and pushing them to do their best. What makes me different from other recruits is simply the love I hold for this sport. Some comments my volleyball and basketball coaches have made about me are~ I am coachable, reliable, athle, determined and strong willed.  When I say I love this sport I mean every part of it. The long evening practices, my teammates, and the feeling you get at the bottom of your stomach when you get a kill. This is the reason why I play this sport and I want to continue to play and excel.
