Shelbi Westerhouse '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'10" middle hitter from Valparaiso, IN. I have played varsity volleyball during my sophomore, junior and senior years. My recent accomplishments as a volleyball player include, team captain, all-conference, leading hitter, MVP and All-Area Honorable Mention by the NWI Times Newspaper. I currently have a 3.83|4.00 GPA. I am a very competitive person and my passion is to continue athletics at the college level. I have a strong desire to play at the highest level of competition my abilities allow. I also realize the value of my college education. I seek an institution that will challenge me and support me in my pursuit of a degree and take an interest in my personal success as student. In closing, I feel my strongest personal characteristics are my strong moral values and character. I strive to set a good example for my team mates and my peers. I lead by example in my work ethic and the way I live my life.
