Personal Statement

I have a desire to keep striving to improve in every opportunity I am given and working hard to become the best athlete I can be. I want to play at the highest level I can and compete for a National Championship in college. I would like to use the gift of volleyball to glorify God, and I wish to reach the hearts of others by continuing in the game through coaching some day, as well. I apply my drive to be the best that I can be, on and off the court, including in the classroom. I have a passion for the game, and I am excited for what the future holds.

To whom this may concern, Lilly Kruse attended one of my camps this summer in Fort Wayne, IN and immediately showed me that she had the ability to play collegiate volleyball. I look at four main things when I evaluate a player: attitude, communication, effort and reading the game. Lilly has all of these and then some showing me that she is a very well-rounded volleyball player. She is strong in all skills of the game and would help any collegiate team in the future. The biggest thing is her dedication to the game because she was consistently asking questions, staying longer to get extra repetitions and the first one to the gym everyday. Train hitting, serving, and passing; Will Robbins' Letter of Recommendation: I highly recommend Lilly Kruse as an outside or right side hitter for any Division I program. She is an extremely coachable leader, who works hard, trains daily, and continues to progress every time on the court, already touching 9’ 8 1/2” on her approach jump. She has to be one of the State’s best hitters in the Class of 2018.
