Personal Statement
Playing collegiate volleyball has been a dream of mine since I was 10 years old! This is when I started playing club volleyball and developed a passion for the game. Volleyball is hard work, but it is fun! I have learned so many life lessons by playing volleyball, but mostly I have learned about myself. I learned I am tough, committed, a leader, a fierce competitor, and I hate to lose!
I am currently recovering from ankle surgery. I played my entire high school season with 2 torn ligaments in my left ankle. I had surgery to repair them in November, 2017. My surgeon has now cleared me to play. I have joined the Circle City Volleyball Club 17-Black team for the 2018 club season.
I have a 4.2 GPA/4.0 scale, so academics are very important to me. I want to be a member of a college team that has high academic standards and is competitive in their conference. I believe I have the talent to compete, lead, and make an impact on your program!
