Personal Statement
How would I describe Annie Knapp? I would describe myself as; coachable, passionate, a Leader on and off the court, vocal on the court, respectful, and committed. My passion and love for volleyball affects my every day life. I am always working hard and training to be the very best I can as a volleyball player and person. I am a coachable player with a kindhearted, competitive and joyous attitude. At school my teachers describe me as " attentive, diligent and enjoyable to have in their class. " My commitment to volleyball can be seen through my schoolwork as well. Knowing I need to make great grades to play volleyball , I study hard on a nightly basis to maintain my 4.0 GPA. Throughout middle school and high school I have been on the Academic Honor Roll. I take school, volleyball and family very seriously! My dream would be to play college volleyball and then go on to coach and possibly own my own volleyball club.
Outside of school I enjoy YoungLife, youth group , choir, cooking with my friends and learning Spanish. I have received the Presidential Service Award for the past four years. The Presidential Service Award goes to students who actively participate in more than 100 hours of community service. Whether is it working for Habitat for Humanity, teaching Sunday School or serving the homeless, I love to serve my community.
On the court I am a team player, leader and have a great ability to track the ball. My high school coach described me as the the "hardest working player on the team." Please allow me the opportunity to show you how I could be an asset to your team.
