Skylar Lopez '22 Recruiting Profile

I aspire to attend a college that has an excellent volleyball program as well as exceptional academics. I have completed fundamentally focused camps and one-on-one training with college coaches which has allowed me to have the proper fundamental skills needed to play higher level volleyball. I also am focusing to fulfill a 4.0 GPA throughout high school while being accepted into National Honors Society. I feel as though being a left-handed player makes me more difficult to defend. I have also played multiple positions other than an opposite. The sport of volleyball has inspired me since I was nine years old.  During the years, I have had challenges to overcome that have made me realize I am capable of more than I thought.  I consider myself a dedicated and hardworking athlete who strives to continuously improve day by day.  Volleyball has taught me to not give up and believe in myself.
