I am looking for an opportunity to continue playing the game I love - volleyball. I strive to be a great student-athlete, representing my school with great character and integrity; thus, I am looking for a college with a good volleyball program as well as one who will challenge and help prepare me for medical school.
I am honest, extremely coach-able, a hard worker, a quick learner, fun, a good teammate, a difference maker on the floor, use all my hitters - front and back row, and I have a great feel for the game (high volleyball IQ). I am experienced running both a 5-1 and a 6-2 offense. My 9 years of club experience and 4 years of varsity experience have prepared me well. I have learned from some of the very best Heart of America (HOA) region coaches.
Academically, I have always pushed myself, taking many honors and AP classes at Blue Valley High School. Blue Valley High is recognized as a "Blue Ribbon National School of Excellence" by the US Department of Education, named one of the "Best High Schools" by Newsweek, US News & World Report and the Washington Post and is currently ranked #1 in the state of Kansas. I currently possess a 3.98 GPA and scored a 31 on my first and second ACT tests. My ACT super score is a 32.
I am hoping that my current love, volleyball, will help me find a school that will help prepare me for another love and dream - helping others through medicine.
