Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and has been for a little over a year now. I whole-heartedly belive that he gave me the talent to play the wonderful game of volleyball. I have been plaing volleyball since I was 10 years old. My mother, Kim Nelson, who played volleyball at Murray State University, was the first person who taught me how to play and continues to encourage me and help me reach my full potential. I understand that only a few handfuls of girls get picked to play volleyball in college, and I believe I am one of those girls.
I am a quick thinker and mover, I have a strong hit, and a solid serve. I am coachable and when I make a mistake I want to know what I did wrong so I wont do it again.. ever. I give absolutely 150% during all games and all practices. I believe you practice like you play and you play like you practice. I am a leader and try to encourage my teammates to "strive for perfection and accept excellence".
Off the court, I have made All A's With the exception of Algebra and Chemistry ( my weaknesses) in which I made B's in. I am currently Vice president of Student council and German Club. I am also involved in Bible Club, Beta Club, and Deca Club.
I would love to play at a college that pushes me both on the court and off. Other than that, I am very open minded about where I play. Just give me a chance, and I wont let you down!
