Personal Statement

My goals for college are to get a degree in health care as well as to make life long friendships, grow into a independent adult. I would also like to become apart of a collegiate volleyball family. I have been apart of sports teams for most of my life and know what it takes to be a successful team mate. When I was younger, I played many different sports such as soccer, basketball, softball and volleyball.  I remember watching my sister play volleyball and wanted be a part of the team as a young child.  As a freshman I was fortunate enough to play on our varsity team.  This allowed me to play with older girls and learn how to communicate on a off the court.  I  feel I would be a great asset for a college team because I want to see everyone succeed, i'm not afraid of hard work, criticism or instruction. I don't know if I am different from other recruits but I know that I love to compete and would love to be apart of a volleyball family.  As far as my character, I am a honest, hardworking, individual. I love to work with young volleyball players and to teach them everything I can about the sport. In school I do my best to learn all I can as a student, I obtain about a 3.6 GPA. I would love for you to consider me for your team.
