Camille Dedeaux '18 Recruiting Profile

As an athlete I am always striving for improvement. No matter the success I have experienced past and present I know there is always room for growth and always something to learn. I am a very versatile player and am very smart when it comes to the game. Being intellectual is one of my greatest assets as a player. I will never allow a team to defeat me because they out smart me or out work me. I am a 6 rotation player and love playing defense as much or more than hitting. Every time I am on the court I make it a personal goal to never let the ball hit the floor. To me, getting an amazing up or a perfect 3 pass is just as gratifying as getting the kill. I also know that a volleyball game is won in the the serve and serve receive series of the game, both things which are in my control. I have always been a natural leader and have great public speaking skills. I am the M.C. at all school pep rallies, a member of student council, national honor society, and student ambassadors as well as managing good grades and athletics. I also take a very vocal role on the court and am not afraid to take responsibility and act as a leader or motivater for my teammates.
