My name is Ana Noel Williams and I have been in and around sports since I was 2 years old. My first love began with Competitive Gymnastics for nearly 10 years where I excelled in various meets receiving the coveted 1st place All-Around. My specialties were the vault and floor. Also, I've participated in Competitive Cheer as I am currently on the Zachary High Competitive Cheer Squad.
However, when I entered Middle School and participated in volleyball try-outs and actually made the team, I immediately knew that this was the sport for me and my aspiration since then has been to play at the collegiate level. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.
My position is both Middle/Outside Hitter; I have great jumping ability and exhibit quick movement on the court. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. All of my coaches (Club and High School) would agree that I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I also volunteer in various Church and community activities and am currently a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).
I want to attend a college where the atmosphere not only enhances my athleticism but will cultivate my academics. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. My greatest hope is to make my parents and relatives proud and become a great role model to all my peers.
