2018 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My name is Zyare Abdul-Rahim, 6’2 OPP/OH from Hofstra University. I'm looking to transfer to a highly competitive school and am prepared for you to utilize my experience as a pin hitter immediately. I bring a lot of energy to the team and am always striving to improve my game and elevate my teammates around me.
A sense of accomplishment comes when I see myself improving. Receiving 1st Team All CAA this season was a testament to that. This drives me to work even harder and to reach my highest goals.
One thing that makes me different from other candidates is that I don't see volleyball as something I need to do to go to college. I aspire to play professionally. Ultimately, I genuinely LOVE to play volleyball and work hard to make sure I excel academically and athletically. Feel free to check out my film and stats on Volleymetrics.
