Tara Register '16 Recruiting Profile

     As a student-athlete, I believe in giving 100%  in the classroom AND on the court.  I enjoy being a student of the game and constantly work to soak up as much information as I can from all coaches to become the smartest and most effective player possible.  My drive and ambition, as well as my ability to read the court, have helped me to become a very good teammate.

     In addition to a tremendous love of the game, I have found that Volleyball has helped me in so many ways.  It has helped me to better my time management skills and has been extremely valuable in learning to deal with different personalities in pursuit of a common goal. 

     I am so proud of my club team's accomplishments, which have included three gold medals in tournaments, a silver medal at regionals, and qualification for Nationals in Minneapolis (July 2014).  Additionally, my high school team, the Severna Park Falcons recently won the Maryland 4A State Volleyball Championship.  I am a 6-Rotation Outside Hitter for both my club and high school teams.

     As a Junior, I look forward to continuing to grow in the sport and am very eager to eventually play in a competitive college volleyball program.
