Sydney Hensley '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sydney Hensley.  I am looking for a college that will allow me to grow both academically as well as physically as a volleyball player.  The finance world fascinates me.  I currently am an intern for a wealth management firm. I would like to further my education with  a business degree focusing on Finance.  The same attributes an athlete displays are needed in the work field.  My work ethic and need to work to be the best at what I do sets me apart.  I am told I am a natural leader.  When on the court you will find me encouraging and helping lead my team.  A good leader is one who can think quickly on their feet and be available to support their teammates. Through out my middle and high school volleyball career I have learned to master different positions as a setter and outside hitter.  My main position is setter.  Being a bit of a perfectionist has lead me to produce good grades and great volleyball seasons.  I believe that my character speaks volumes.  Being a Christian I try to always do what is right, my integrity and fortitude to work hard to get better at everything I do have given me a reputation I am proud of.  I am a dedicated team player who gives 100%; whether that be in volleyball or my education.  I would love an opportunity to play volleyball while I am furthering my education in college.
