Sasha Poland '18 Recruiting Profile

Playing volleyball at the college level has always been my dream. Being able to contribute to the team and help towards certain goals and standards, would be an amazing opportunity. I see myself as calm leader who people can depend on. I am a student of the game, and one of my strengths being to recognize successful strategies to help my team. I also see myself as confident and supportive out on the court. I make sure to stay positive in tough situations, and to help any teammates in need. I am different than other recruits because I am an all around very flexible player. I can play multiple positions, and have been successful in the past. I also am a firm believer in the statement that everyone can contribute in different ways, even if you are not on the court. I have been told that I am a extremely hard worker, and know how to get the job done. I like to stay after practice and work on things that mabey my team didn't particularly work on in practice. But with this statement in mind, I also believe that academics come first.
