Hello, I'm Annalynn Mann I play for East Kentwood High school's Varsity volleyball team, I am in the graduating class of 2024.
I began playing to stay in shape for cheer, overtime I fell in love with the game more than I expected. As I got more exposure and playing time I started to play travel volleyball and got myself involved in more camps through FaR Out VBC . The fast pace, intense atmosphere, and family that I have grown to love over my time playing both school and travel volleyball is what makes me passionate about pursing the game beyond high school. My first club coach, Sarah Wendling, who played at the collegiate level at Davenport University, was influential and saw potential in me as a DS/Libero. When I began in middle school I would play all around as a setter. After my first club season I wanted to focus on my skills in the defensive position. At the beginning of my freshman year I was the Libero for the JV team at East Kentwood. At the conclusion of my JV season my Varsity coach, Toni Haynes, pulled me up to Varsity for the remainder of their season as an additional DS. My sophomore year I was part of the varsity team again, and this year, my junior year, I was a starter. As of right now I will be playing travel volleyball for FaROut VBC in the winter and spring for 17 white and I look forward to continuing to build my skills and relationships with my coaches and teammates.
