Personal Statement
My name is Anna Vorderbrueggen, MB/MH, Class of 2017 for Cardinal Mooney Catholic HS, Marine City, Michigan. I play all 6 rotations with my primary position as a MB/MH as noted. I am 100% committed to playing volleyball now & in college. I am viewed by my coaches & teammates as a team player as I put the teams goals in front of my personal goals. I am also viewed by my coaches & teammates as driven, motivated, competitive, hard working, a solid student, and as a leader. All I want is the team to win on & off the court! I have a positive outlook on my team, my game, and on life which then shows up in how I play. I just love playing volleyball and am driven to give my best. I do not let setbacks or victories cloud my judgment as I know what is ultimately important to me which I take very seriously: my team, my coaches, my family, my faith, and my education. Yet winning is a great feeling! I take my studies very serious as I am a two year National Honor Society member and I am currently ranked eleventh in my class. I am motivated to have a positive attitude each & every day; to be the best teammate possible; to be a strong leader for my team; to give my all to my team, to my coaches, & to my studies everyday; and, to be the best student that I can be.
