Hello! 

My name is Vivian Campbell, I’m a junior (class of 2025) at Rochester High School, MI. I first stepped onto a volleyball court at 11 years old and have played competitively ever since. I enjoy being on a team with high-intensity players working towards a common goal each play. A healthy competitive atmosphere helps me strive to become a better player. I desire to continue playing volleyball at high school and club as preparation for collegiate volleyball. I am exploring career paths, but both the fields of forensics and physical therapy interest me.

The team aspect of volleyball is what first attracted me. Working together with both skill and trust in your teammates is necessary to reach higher levels of competition. That is why I am looking for a college that values its team chemistry as well as develops its individual players.

I specialize in hitting opposite, however, I’m a utility player for outside, middle, and setter.

Coaches see me as a versatile front-row player. For example, when a player is out or injured, I am routinely the coach’s first choice to move over and fill the gap. 

I wish to grow as a player in college. I started playing sand volleyball to improve my defense and agility. Beach volleyball has allowed me to find a new passion for the sport, and shows my desire to bring my game up to the next level. Sand also allows me to share my passion for volleyball with my brother and dad as I am looking forward to playing co-ed sand tournaments with them.
