My goal for college is to receive a medical degree in either nursing or possibly dermatology. I want to be able to go home after work and feel that I have made a difference in someone's life instead of just working for a pay check. I have a strong faith that contributes to my values and belief in helping people. It carries through to my family, community, and with my team.
I have loved the game of volleyball since my sisters started playing it. I was the manager for their high school team and really started to have a passion for the game by 11 years old. I am very grateful to have gotten the opportunity to watch them, so I could grow as a player myself. I've been told by both my club and high school coach that my work ethic is beyond compare. I realize my role on the team as a setter involves delivering hittable balls to my hitters regardless of the pass I receive. I play with high energy and know my role as a leader on the court. I'm a selfless player who wants only the best for my team.
I am different, because I learn fast in all aspects of my life. I am a good student and have worked to keep my grades at the top of my class. My class rank is currently 3 of 48. Although I have an extremely busy schedule I strive to perform in the classroom as well as on the court.
