Alison Hinze '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alison Hinze. I am a 5'11 six rotation player with a 115" approach, 109" block, and 90" reach. I am a sophomore that will be playing my 3rd year at the varsity level at Maple Grove Senior High.

I have been playing club volleyball for 8 years at MN Select out of Maple Grove, Minnesota.

My key strengths are passion, effort, volleyball IQ, coachable and being a team player.

I have been a 6 rotation outside hitter for most of my volleyball career. I enjoy hitting and passing and would welcome the opportunity to play either or both positions at the collegiate level.

While on the court I always give 100% effort. I'm a versatile hitter and always attempt to make the most of what is open on the court. When in the back row I like to study my opponents habits to be prepared for when they send the ball over. When blocking I effectively read and adjust to my opposing hitter.

I look forward to a challenging collegiate experience at the program that suits both mine and the program’s needs.
