Amaia Floreal '17 Recruiting Profile

Playing volleyball has become a huge part of my life. My father played college volleyball in Canada and competed in the Military Nationals. He has also coached for years, and following in his footsteps is a desire and long-term goal of mine. I have played and excelled as a setter, but have also become a team contributor as a Right side, and Outside hitter. I continue to work on becoming the best passer and blocker I can and find it fun to challenge myself in all aspects of the game! I feel that being a versatile player will help me in the future as I can help out my team where needed. This coming school year I am determined to increase my GPA, get some coaching experience by volunteering to coach my little sisters soccer team at the YMCA. I look forward sharing my core values of sportsmanship, respect, integrity and love of the game with my siblings and others.
