Personal Statement
As a setter, I like being the "quarterback" of my team. Being able to be a vocal leader on and off the court and being aware of what is happening both on my side and the opponent's side is an asset I would bring to any team. After I graduate in 2019, my goal is to play at the highest level possible as a setter and/or opposite while earning a college degree.
In high school, I am on the Varsity team as a 6-2 setter as a Junior. Our team won the Missouri Class 3 State Championship on October 28, 2017. It was a great accomplishment and something I, and my teammates, have worked very hard for. I was on JV for my freshman and sophomore seasons and played all six rotations. I was also a reserve on the varsity my sophomore year. During both JV seasons, I ran a 6-2 and also played as the right-side hitter.
For my club team, I ran a 5-1 for the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 club seasons for Performance Volleyball Ozark. I am very quick at learning and trying new things and can adapt to new rotations and change of position at any time. I am willing to do whatever it takes to make our team be the best that it can be. When it comes down to it, I am willing to leave all that I have on the court and play to the best of my ability.
I maintain a 3.90 GPA, was awarded academic all-state and look forward to possibly pursuing a career in athletic training or physical therapy.
