Emily Case '20 Recruiting Profile

I have played volleyball since 3rd grade. I started playing CYC, then moved to playing club, and junior high and finally high school volleyball.  At one time in junior high, I was playing for my CYC team, my school team and then my club team all in the same academic year! My dedication and love for the game of volleyball has never waned, not even with other personal challenges along the way.  I have had to work hard academically and I work a part-time job as well, but I never missed a volleyball practice or game (unless due to circumstances beyond my control) in my ten years of playing the game. I will bring that dedication and love for the game to my college team as well.

During my two years playing varsity for Bayless High School, I was the starting server for every game. I was consistently ranked in the top 50 servers in the St. Louis region for serving effectiveness, serving percentage and aces. I played as an outside hitter and a defensive specialist but I also have experience as a setter. I can play all the way around!
