Erica Woods '17 Recruiting Profile

Being brought up to play at the high school varsity level mid-season as a freshman really made me grow as a student athlete.  As one of the youngest on the team, I had to prove I was both a player and a leader and could direct any adversity to a positive experience on the court.  At the club level, I have had to adapt to the team needs and learned to play various positions throughout the season.  These experiences have taught me the value of teamwork, commitment and leadership, both on and off the court and have prepared me to play at the next level in college. 

I am looking for a school and program that offers a great academic and athletic experience and allows me to grow personally. As a 5 time renaissance receiver (academic honor roll), school is just as important to me as sports. Making 1st team all district, as well as other accomplishments such as completing my first half marathon last year, show that I have the drive, work ethic, and character to make an impact in your program and am very excited for what my future in volleyball holds for me next!
