Personal Statement

My name is McKenna Kruse.  I am an “A” student at Villa Duchesne High School in St. Louis and  I would like to continue my volleyball career at the collegiate level upon my graduation in 2020.  I’ve been playing club volleyball since I was 7 years old.   I’m hard working, dedicated and a trusted team leader.  I’m currently in my 4th season as a varsity starter and current captain for Villa Duchesne High School in St. Louis.  Most recently, I led my club team HPSTL 17 Royal as a 5-1 setter to qualification and a 22nd place finish at USAV Open Nationals in Indianapolis.

With my career aspirations now in focus, I’d like to pursue schools with a strong Business or International Business program.  I look forward to finding the right place where I can learn and meaningfully contribute to the success of the volleyball program.
