My main rule of thumb is a cliche one: if at first you don't succeed, try, try again. I have followed this motto in academics, athletics as well as when dealing with major stressors in life. In academics, I strive to give the best of myself in any class or assignment. I kept taking the ACT over and over again, because I knew that I could do better if I just tried a little harder. I push myself to my limits in the classroom and the court. I don't give up easily when challenges come my way.
