Volleyball is a strong passion of mine and I love how it involves every player to be successful. I strive to play at the highest level possible through my team, Adidas Dynasty 16-1. I am a flexible utility player; I have years of experience as a pin hitter, a middle, and a DS. I work my hardest to develop my skills in every position. Another passion of mine is music and school. Playing the cello and piano helps me balance out any stress from volleyball and school. I am very dedicated to my academic studies. Throughout freshman year, I remained 2nd in my class of 521 students. I enjoy taking health related science classes such as Principles of Biomedical Sciences or Human Body Systems.
With my club teams, I have played in the Girls Junior National Championships 4 times (12-15) in the Open division. Playing at the highest level possible during these big tournaments has allowed me to grow as a player during stressful situations. These situations can help unite a team to push even harder to achieve the end goal and improve. During the high school season, I started on Varsity as a freshman and continued as a sophomore. Both years I was given the opportunity to play as an all around outside hitter and excelled. This past season, I made the All District First Team and qualified for the Academic All State both years.
For my future plans, I want to attend a college that has strong academic programs with a challenging emphasis in health related exercise science. After college, I intend to become a physical therapist or orthopaedic surgeon. I enjoy having a balance between academic and athletic programs. I plan to continue growing in both areas of my life. Playing in college, I would do the best in a team oriented atmosphere that allows for learning and improvements. I enjoy focusing on the growth mindset and continue to get better in the game I am most passionate about.NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the exclusive athletic recruiting network that educates, assists, and connects, families, coaches and companies so they can save time and money, get ahead and give back.
