In eighth grade, I decided that I wanted to play club volleyball. I had been playing volleyball since fifth grade, but something clicked during this particular season. I decided then that the next four years of volleyball would not be enough to quench my new found passion.
You may wonder, Why college volleyball? Why can't you play on some intercollegiate team? My answer for you is that I love the competiveness, intensity, and family like atmosphere of a school team. Its the fact of playing not only for yourself and you love of the game, but also for your team and your school. I like the mentality you have to put yourself in, so that you are able to get your job done and ultimately get better. I enjoy a good challenge because the struggle itself is more valuable than the results.
Thank you for taking a few minutes out of your busy schedule. Your time is appreciated!
