My hopes are to receive a scholarship and play Volleyball at the collegiate level.
For myself, being a student athlete is much more than just the game of Volleyball. Academics is the key that will pave the road for my ultimate success. I know that I am a great candidate for any college team because I am such a hard worker and I have a great attitude. It is my commitment and focus to play college ball while at the same time receiving a great education that drives me every day to seek out the opportunities before me.
I've always played on teams with girls older than me, which has allowed me to gain a sense of independence and confidence as a player.
I pride myself as being a leader. I've learned people will follow you when they learn to respect your qualities as an individual. I am driven, passionate, focused, and determined. I work hard at everything I have accomplished and I have realized that there are no short cuts. It is my competitiveness and passion for the game that would make me an asset to your team. I may not fit the statistical requirements but what I lack in size, I make up for in ability.
I love this quote and I live by it everyday:
"Don't ever let somebody tell you... You can't do something. Not even me. All right? You got a dream... You gotta protect it. People can't do somethin' themselves, they wanna tell you you can't do it. If you want somethin', go get it. Period." (The Pursuit of Happyness)
