Personal Statement
My name is Caroline Wang and I'm a junior 5'8" setter for both my national club team and my 4A varsity team. I am playing up an age group in club and I am playing on NC Elite 18 Black (18-1). For school season I have received honorable mentions and scholar athlete awards. Even when I don't have practice I'm in the gym every day giving 100% because I want to be the best that I can be. I can run any kind of tempo, but I prefer to run a quicker offense to keep the other team on their toes. I tend to keep my team calm during tight situations and avoid showing frustration on the court since I've found that leading by example is the best way to be a leader. I'm committed and am willing to out work anyone. I put all my effort into bettering myself on and off the court simply because I love the game, and I hope to continue to play the sport I love at a collegiate level. I'm excited to see where my path will take me.
I've dreamed of going pre-law ever since I was in middle school, and I'm interested in any university that can offer me this opportunity, regardless of what NCAA division they are. I am considering majoring in Political Science, however, I'm open to all types of majors as I'm still discovering what I wish to do in life.
