This is a story about a girl that loves school, volleyball, her family, music, dogs, the beach, the mountains, and peanut butter. She also takes her faith very seriously. She reads her Bible every night and usually thinks of others before herself.
She is very punctual in everything she does largely influenced by her first volleyball coach who said, “early is on time, on time is late, and late is in trouble.” She is very organized as she must be to juggle four honors classes, school, club, and sand volleyball, church, and make time for friends. Speaking of friends many of hers, call her Mama Caitlyn as she is caring, compassionate, and loyal. She loves to have fun whether riding waves, roller coasters, or bikes. A good book or movie is always welcome.
She takes her volleyball seriously often working on non practice days and eating a healthy diet. Her favorite is chicken and pasta. Any kind of pasta. This year she added weight lifting as an elective to improve strength and flexibility. She’s a competitor that gives 100% whether running drills, scrimmaging, or in a match. She’s been in the bleachers, over chairs, and into a scores table to keep the ball in play and give her team a chance to win a point. She wants to be on the floor when the match is close and is confident at the service line at any point during the match.
This is a story about me.
