Personal Statement
On and off the court I am recognizable for my positive attitude and willingness to help others. It has always been a goal of mine to play in college and I have realized that with that big of a goal, I must be able to push myself past what I think my limit is. I have been very committed to going to the weight room and give 110% throughout conditioning and practice. I’m in search for a relatable coach and a team that is going to better me as a player and as a person. I have received many awards for my talent and abilities such as being a letterwinner and being named “Best New Comer” my freshman season. As a freshman, I was very committed and pushed myself very hard to be on the varsity squad and I ended up playing 3 games on the freshman team, 5 games on the Reserve team, started on JV, and had the opportunity to be on varsity towards the middle of the season. During my sophomore year I started for every game and gained many personality qualities that are vital to being a good team player.
Inside the classroom I am a good student and strive to do my best. I take many accelerated classes and have been named Student of the Month several times. Outside of the classroom, I participate in youth group at my local church and frequently volunteer with them and participate in mission trips.
