Kayla Mastin '19 Recruiting Profile

           I plan to attend college and major in an engineering field and earn a degree that will provide for me for the rest of my life. In the high school I attend, I am a strong student enrolled in above grade (including honors and advanced placement) classes. I consistently earn good grades and I welcome challenges! I am looking to play for a college or university that meets both my academic and athletic goals.

            On the volleyball court, I am a team player with a strong mindset. This upcoming school year, I will need to continue to increase my performance on the court while adjusting to a new varsity coach and work to inspire a team that will have several players who are new to volleyball. A goal will be to increase my leadership skills so that the team can learn and have a highly positive and competitive spirit! When school season is over, I transition to my club season. While on my club team, I thrive on the high competition and the fast pace of the tournaments. I can't wait to get on the court and work to do my best so that my team can perform at their best! There is no greater feeling than when every player is giving all they've got for the team to win!
