My name is Hailee Howe. I began playing volleyball in sixth grade at my former school cazenovia central school. (add in either i grew to love the sport // or i immediately had a strong love for the sport /explain a little if you want) I continued to play even through a transition of schools. I’m currently a student at Hamilton, where my love for volleyball continues to grow. ( When Covid-19 started I was extremely disappointed I was unable to play volleyball for school. Although I was unable to play for school that didn’t crush my motivation, I began to practice for hours at a time.)
I started playing volleyball as a starter for Club KODA winter of 2021, my sophomore’s year. Since I was on the JV team, rather than varsity for some of my sophomore year due to Covid reason I knew I had to work especially hard to prove myself. I wanted to prove that I have the potential to play at a higher level. This eventually paid off this year when I moved up to the libero position both in school and in Club KODA.
Throughout my years of highschool I have worked hard to maintain Honor Roll or High Honor Roll. What differs between other athletes and I is my motivation, hard work and determination. I have always strived to be not only the best player, but also student, worker, and person I can be.
