Haley Holmes '18 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing sports my whole life, from Travel Soccer, Club Lacrosse and Select Basketball, but it is not until I started volleyball did I find my true passion.  Volleyball began for me in 2011 at age 11.  In just two years my efforts to grow and succeed were recognized when I joined my high school’s junior varsity team as a setter while still in Middle School. Volleyball has given me the opportunity to build lasting relationships with teammates, coaches and mentors that have enriched my life.  Playing and competing has taught me self-discipline, confidence under pressure, pride, and leadership skills that I bring to the academic classroom as well.  My desire to grow as an athlete and student will propel me toward reaching my goal of enrolling in a college that will help prepare me for life, while playing the sport I love at a high level.
