Emily Sullivan '17 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5’9 elite setter from Bridgewater, New Jersey.  I have 5 years of club volleyball experience as the starting setter with Central Jersey Volleyball Academy (CJVA).  I am a junior in high school and I am the starting setter on my high school Varsity team.   In the 2013 season, I was the first freshman starter to make the team in about 8 years.  I was selected for the All Skylands Conference 2nd team and for All Area Central Jersey 3rd team in 2013.  In the 2014 Season I was selected to the All Skylands Conference All Star 1st Team and the New Jersey All State Conference  2nd Team and in 2015 I was selected for the All Skylands 1st Team and the New Jersey All State Conference 1st Team.  My Varsity team won the State Championships this year which was very exciting.   I continue enhancing my setting and leadership skills everyday and year round by playing Varsity, Club and Beach volleyball.

I am a very compassionate and competitive volleyball player.  I love the sport along with the discipline and structure it provides me.  My goal is to continue playing volleyball throughout my college career while pursing my interest in Medicine/Biology/Chemisty.  I currently have a 3.4 GPA and am looking for a school which will allow me to be successful both academically as well as athletically.  I am open to exploring opportunities in all divisions at colleges across the country and I am focused on getting a great education at a great University.
