This past club season of 2017 was definitely a learning year. My team and I worked hard to tie for 31st in 17 Open at Girl’s Junior Nationals. I got to continue playing all around and continue to improve my defense, serving, and back row hitting. I first began playing all around last year, and was I was mentioned as an honorable mention, the fifth of five right sides to make the list of the best players in 16-Open last year (http://prepvolleyball.com/articles/club-articles/club-all-americans/16s-club-volleyball-all-americans-tawa-style/341405/4).
Since I began volleyball in the seventh grade, I have started on one of the best teams in the nation. We have been ranked in the top 25 numerous times and continue to beat the best teams in the country. Every year we have gone to Nationals, and done fairly well. This team along with my great coach, Sangyong Yun, has taught me how to play at very high level of volleyball, how to be a leader, and give my all into everything I do.
