Camryn Frederick '17 Recruiting Profile

     HEART…I can promise you that I will give you 100%.  I am extremely passionate about the game of volleyball and I will always be a leader on the court.   Responsibility is my goal.  I was a starter for varsity my sophomore year because of my excitement and desire to win.  What makes me stand out,  is that I want not only to make myself a better player, but my teammates as well.  I want to add so much value to your school and your volleyball program.  I want to stand out as a role model, not only as an athlete, but as an academic scholar as well.  My parents never have to wake me up for school or ask me to do my homework.   I enjoy waking up early and making the best out of every day that God has given me.  I am the oldest of three…there is nothing that would make me more proud than to be an outstanding mentor to my younger brother and little sister.  I want them to watch me follow my dreams and prove to them that anything is possible.  I am truly blessed to have parents that are so involved in my life and my well being.  They have made so many sacrifices so that I could attend a small, private school.  I want to show them that all of their hard work and support was worth it, as they watch me follow my dreams of playing volleyball in college.  

     My proudest moment was when I was awarded 3rd place, best outside hitter in my conference.  I have worked so hard to get to this point.  I have now set a personal goal to reach #1.  I am definitely a leader on the court and strive to keep my team positive at all times.  I am a very motivated individual on and off the court.  I have always had a passion to help others reach their full potential.  I also have a love of animals and children, which is why I would love to go into the medical field.  My life long dream has always been to be a pediatrician or a veterinarian so that I can help others.  I have a love for life, others, volleyball, and animals.  I hope that you can give me the chance to show you what an asset I would be to your school and volleyball program.
