Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Carmen Shaw I am 16 and live in Gardnerville, Nevada. I will be graduating in 2015 from Douglas High School. I have been playing volleyball since 8th grade, and would love to play at the collegiate level that will push and show my skills. I have played JV my freshman year and Varsity my sophomore year. I currently play with Silver State Volleyball Club for 17-1. I have played with this club for two years and many more to come. I am in NHS, a honor roll student, and I am in AP English. I carry a 3.3 GPA and wish to attend a college where I will push myself academically and athletically. I am considered a perfectionist when it comes to plays, I want to work as hard as I can to make the plays work and make them efficient. I am almost always the first one in the gym and the last to leave. I am also very coachable. I am open to any options that match my skills and my academic needs.
