Personal Statement
My name is Tia McClain-Echols. I started out playing volleyball as a way to help me out with my shyness. Not realizing that I would love the game. My first game with Edge VBC 2014 I got my first kill as a middle. That feeling that rushed through me is indescribable. From that day on, volleyball has been an important part of my life.
My freshman year at Cheyenne High School. I was a starter on the varsity team. I also play for Dig This Volleyball Club as a starter. Playing in a more competitive league has raised my level of play. I see myself doing things that I thought I would never be able to do. Volleyball has taught me to never give up on and off the court. My goals for volleyball is to be the best that I can be. To learn and grown into a successful individual and as a team (Family). My motto has been "work hard play hard" from the first time I stepped on the court. Where ever I end up it will always be that.
