Gillian Gore '17 Recruiting Profile

I want to go to an academically challenging college with a good volleyball program. I do not yet know what I want to major in, so I would like the opportunity to explore many different areas of study. I also want to be in a politically liberal environment that is racially and ethnically diverse. 
I am a 6 position volleyball player. I am a team leader and I maintain a positive attitude, even in a discouraging game situation. I encourage my team mates and am open to critique. I have been described as "coachable" and I have been complimented on my technique and ability to play all positions. I am from a very diverse family; ethnically, racially, religiously, and socio-economically. I will bring to the team and the classroom a unique perspective having come from such a diverse background. 
I am an eager learner and I love hands on, experiential learning. I am an analytical thinker and I enjoy discussing different points of view.
