Isabella Pirone '18 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'6 setter/DS for the class of 2018. I am a Junior at Manhasset High School and Captain on the Varsity volleyball team .  My passion is volleyball and I have been playing club since I was eleven.   This year I will be playing with CALI 17's.  I would love a chance to play at the college level.  I also attend Parisi Speed School to improve my vertical jump, strength and speed.  I put all of my hard work and dedication into volleyball so that I can be the best I can.  I have been told I am a "smart" player.  My teammates can count on me to work hard and to contribute my part.  I listen to all advice given to me and make corrections.  I am always looking for ways to improve myself on and off the court.  I am a well-rounded volleyball player.

I also care and like to give back to my community.  I took what I have learned over the years and coach my younger sister’s CYO volleyball team.  Doing this I have learned more about the sport and also gained more respect for coaches! It is not an easy job.

I am looking for a school where I can have both the volleyball and academic excellence.  I will be challenging  myself this year with some honor courses.  For my future I see myself being involved in sports medicine or physical therapy.
