Taylor Szaz '16 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was a in Junior High I knew that I wanted to play volleyball in college. I started off my dream by working toward making the high school team at Mount Notre Dame. I first made the team and then became the freshman and JV starting libero. Now I want to work toward making my dream come true and play volleyball in college. I want to play volleyball at the highest level possible and push myself to be the best player, and teammate I can be. I think that the qualities I have that set me apart from other players is my drive and determination. When I put my mind to something I will do everything in my power to achieve it, no matter how hard it may seem. Every time I step onto the volleyball court I give it 110% no matter if it is a practice, game, or lesson. What makes me different from other recruits is that I play with my heart and try my absolute hardest every time I step on the court. I am constantly striving to be the best teammate, and encourage everyone around me to make the environment a lively, energetic place to get better. I take my academics very seriously and know what it is like to be a student athlete in high school. By being a student athlete I have learned how to balance my school work with sports, family and friends.
