My name is Sarah Puthoff. I will be graduating from Bishop Watterson High School in 2018. My freshman year GPA was 3.9. My sophomore year GPA is 3.4. My junior year GPA is 3.5. I have been on the honor roll 4 times in my high school career.
I have played competitive volleyball for 5 years and have come to love the game. I have been a middle hitter for 4 years and played RS last year. This club season I am playing middle. I played indoor volleyball and beach volleyball at Zenith Volleyball Academy for 3 years. I am currently training at Mintonette Sports Volleyball Club and I am on Team m.72. I have played volleyball at my high school for 3 years. I was apart of our freshman team my freshman year. My sophomore year, I played on both the JV and Varsity team. I was captain of the JV team and was awarded "Best Offensive Player". I serve well and I am good at hitting angles. My blocking is very good and if I don't complete the block, I almost always get a touch on the ball.
I have built great relationships with my teams and coaches throughout my time as a volleyball player. I am very flexible and can adapt well to different situations. I have tremendous respect for my coaches and teammates who have always been there to help me get better as a player and person. I am very considerate and dependable as a person on and off the court. I have had coaches tell me I have a calm presence on the court. I think I would be a good addition to your team due to my positive attitude, good work ethic and leadership qualities. I have overcome significant adversity and so consider myself persistent and I do not quit.
I plan to major in either occupational therapy, fashion merchandising, or business degree with a fashion minor or math education. I would appreciate contact from any school that offers these majors. Thank you for your time.
