Personal Statement
I started playing volleyball when I was 10 years old, but it wasn't until later on when I decided I wanted to play at the collegiate level. I decided I wanted to play at higher levels when I was 14, my first year of club volleyball, when I was introduced to the idea by my club coach. Since then the idea has always been in the back of my head, and now I'm trying to make my dream a reality.
I am a consistent and aggressive player on the court. I have a good serve and I'm not afraid to dive across the court for a ball. I am a coachable player and strive to be the best leader I can be through encouragement. I am a hard working athlete and a very invested recruit.
In school, I maintain a outstandingly high GPA and stay very involved in school activities and groups. I do volunteer work though my schools FFA Program, Student Government, and Spirit Club. I am also a part of the Math Team, Spanish Club, and FCA.
When looking for a college, I am looking for a school that I can invest myself in the classroom and on the court. I want to go somewhere competitive in the classroom and on the court as well, I am always up for a challenge. I am keeping my options open to keep my opportunities high. I hope my college experience leaves me a better person and a better leader.
