Personal Statement
My name is Sadie Walther and I aspire to play collegiate volleyball for a program that I can contribute to and learn from. I am a strong team player who is dedicated not only to my own success, but also to the success of my teammates. I am currently a Junior at Edgerton High School in Edgerton, Ohio. I was selected as the only freshman to play on our varsity team two years ago and am proud of the fact that I started every game. I enjoy being able to share what I've learned in my club season with my school team to help us succeed. I love everything about the sport, especially understanding the strategies involved. I feel that I am not only athletically able to excel in volleyball but also that I play intelligently and try to "see around the corners." In addition, I am consistently an honor roll student and was recently inducted into the National Honor Society. My grades have always reflected my hard work and dedication. I will go above and beyond for any team I'm privileged to play on.
