Tayler Doty '19 Recruiting Profile

I am a commit to play at Sinclair Community College after my senior year.  Thank you to all of the coaches who have reached out and talked to me! Stay in touch, I will only be at Sinclair for two years and will transfer out, maybe to your college; never know! Volleyball has always been my main passion!  I love playing the sport!  I enjoy talking and meeting with new people and learning new things about the sport!  My main goal throughout college to grow as a person in aspects such as to gain more knowledge on the court, and off the court in the classroom.  I am always looking to improve my game and do whatever will make my team better!  It isn't a single player sport....it takes all six people!  I am apart of our National Honor Society chapter in school,  so my work ethic doesn't just stop in the gym, it continues in the classroom.  At school I also take part in Spanish Club, Pep Club, and the Choir.  I am also apart of 4-H, I have competed at the state level multiple times.  I have always been talkative and friendly, never shy to talk to anyone. I also play basketball, which adds new skills that help me in volleyball, such as jumping and agility. I look to be the leader on and off the court, for my teammates and also those who look up to me.  I believe that my spot on the court is earned, not given, you should always put in 110%!  Coaches yelling at me only pushes myself to get better.  It gives me a drive and a push to better myself.   I know that they are just trying to get the best out of me.  I hope to grow as an individual and become the best I can be, on and off the court!
