Personal Statement
I would love to play in college and work on a degree to become a Physical Therapist. I would love to contribute and be part of a team focused on one goal - striving to be our very best. I recognize not one person makes a team. It is the culmination of the efforts of all members. Being a part of a team who works hard, enjoys successes and learns from losses is where I want to be!
I'm coachable and always focused on how I can become a better player. I work hard and leave everything out on the court. I try to be a leader and motivator by helping to keep the team’s energy high. I am playing the sport I love year around with school, club, and sand. I couldn’t imagine it any other way. I have been truly blessed to play on teams that are like big families and I look forward to continuing that into the future.
I feel I have a high volleyball IQ not only from playing but also from coaching. I have been helping coach since 8th grade and was an assistant coach for a club team during the 2017-2018. This team qualified for Nationals at the OKRVA Regionals. Coaching has helped me grow as an individual. I also coached during the 2018-2019 club season. I have learned to appreciate the coaches' efforts in order to help players become the best athletes and individuals they can be. It has also helped me appreciate volleyball more from both the coaching and playing sides of the game.
Academics are just as important to me. I want to be successful, not only on the court, but in the classroom. I work hard in all of my classes and because of my commitment and hard work, I carry a high GPA.
