I am currently a student at Nyack College in Nyack, NY studying Biology. Unfortunately, I had to redshirt this year due to a shoulder injury; however, I have been working really hard during my rehab and will be ready to go in the fall. This year taught me so much about the team dynamic both on and off the court. I firmly believe that my team also learned a valuable lesson about how important the bench is to our overall success. Even though I was a redshirt, I was able to scrimmage during practices where I got kills and blocks on our starting middle (who, incidently, was named to the CACC all-conference 2nd team as a freshman this year).
I have a strong work ethic both academically and athletically. Academically, I was the Co-Valedictorian of my high school class (of 455 students) at Oregon City High School and continue to have a 4.0 thus far at Nyack. Athletically, I have been working in rehab, at scrimmages and in the weight room to get stronger. I am always striving to learn and grow and become the best I can possibly be.
