Personal Statement
My dream has always been about improving myself. I believe in striving to be all that I can be. I am always aspiring to reach my full potential. I vow to always do my best. At this very moment in my life, I am approaching everything, as if I am a sponge. My goal is to grow from every experience and opportunity that I am fortunate enough to have before me. At times, things do not come easy for me, but it is then that I feel the most challenged and therefore I push the hardest to achieve and master whatever it may be that is the objective. I dream of making my family proud and being a role model to other athletes. I have always loved sports and would definitely define myself as "competitive". That being said I aspire always to be a winner at beating my own personal best.
I excel at academics as well. Mostly, because I have an extreme thirst for knowledge. When I learn new things my outlook on life changes. I continuously open new doors to my future through knowledge, discipline and hard work. I realize I have a bright future and I want to earn every part of it. I plan on studying intercultural studies. I feel this is a major best suitable for me because I have strong faith and love learning about and experiencing new cultures. I traveled to Haiti in May of 2016 to do missionary work and found that I would love to do something like that for the rest of my life.
